Shikshak Sewa Aayog Bagmati Pradesh Primary Level Teacher Promotion: An Evaluation-Based Initiative

The Government of Nepal's Teacher Service Commission (TSC / Shikshak Sewa Aayog), the Secretariat of the Promotion Recommendation Committee, and the Directorate of Education Development, Bagmati Province, Hetauda, have collectively issued a notification regarding the teacher promotions.

These promotions are uniquely based on performance evaluations, demonstrating a commitment to reward excellence and inspire improvement in the teaching sector.

Details of the Announcement

This decision adheres to Rule 33 of Paragraph 4 of the Teacher Service Commission Regulations 2057 (with amendments). It applies to those candidates who have applied for promotion and have achieved top marks in their respective districts under advertisement no.02/078/079.

The published list pertains to promotions for candidates at the primary level, first class. The decision is made in accordance with Rule 34 of the Teachers Service Commission Regulations 2057.

Districts and Positions Allocated

The districts involved and the number of promotions allocated per district are as follows:

  • Dolakha - 10 positions
  • Ramechhap - 3 positions
  • Sindhulpalchowk - 6 positions
  • Rasuwa - 3 positions
  • Nuwakot - 8 positions
  • Dhading - 6 positions
  • Kavrepalanchwok - 2 positions
  • Kathmandu - 11 positions
  • Lalitpur - 5 positions
  • Makwanpur - 5 positions
  • Chitwan - 6 positions

Procedure for Filing Complaints

In case any candidate is not satisfied with the decision made by the promotion recommendation committee, they have the right to file a complaint. The complaint needs to be lodged within 35 days from the date of the publication of this notification.

For filing the complaint, a fee of NPR 500 is applicable, payable to the Teacher Service Office Code No. 350213303 under the revenue title 14224. This notice serves to keep the process transparent and fair, providing an avenue for appeals against the promotion decisions.
