The Public Service Commission has recently released the results of its written examination, a significant step in its recruitment process. This exam, held in 2080 Bhadra/Ashoj (September/October 2023), marks a crucial phase in the selection of candidates for various technical positions. Here's what you need to know:

  • Release of Exam Results: On January 3, 2023, the Commission announced the outcomes of the written tests conducted across their Jaleshwar, Kathmandu, and Pokhara offices. This announcement is pivotal for all candidates who participated in the exams during September and October.

  • Invitation for Further Assessment: Successful candidates are now invited to participate in the subsequent stages of the selection process. These include practical assessments and interviews, essential for evaluating the skills and competencies of the candidates in a more hands-on setting.

  • Preparation for Practical and Interview: Candidates who have cleared the written examination are advised to prepare for their practical tests and interviews. The Commission has specified that these assessments will be conducted in their Jaleshwar, Pokhara, and Kathmandu locations. The dates for these tests are scheduled for various days across January and February 2024.

  • Documentation Requirements: The Commission emphasizes the importance of proper documentation. Selected candidates are requested to bring two passport-size photographs, two sets of photocopies of their certificates, and the first and second pages of their filled application forms. Additionally, duplicates of the admit card are to be presented. It's crucial to arrive an hour early on the scheduled day of the practical and interview test.

  • Provisions for Public Holidays: In a noteworthy move, the Commission has declared that the scheduled program will proceed irrespective of public holidays. This ensures a streamlined and uninterrupted selection process, demonstrating the Commission's commitment to maintaining the timeline of recruitment.
