Employment Permit System (EPS), South Korea Published Language Test Results for Agriculture Livestock
The results of the second phase of the language test for Agriculture Livestock under the Employment Permit System (EPS) for South Korea have been released. A total of 8,380 people have been announced to have passed the language test, which was conducted from 23/12/2079 to 13/01/2080.
EPS received a total of 26,876 applications for the examination to be conducted for 7,757 people in the second phase, with 24,326 people participating. On the other hand, for the first phase of Agriculture Livestock, 10,398 people applied for 3,001 positions. The EPS branch under the Foreign Employment Department is responsible for the management of the EPS.
For those who passed the language test, a skill test will be held from 25/01/2080 to 04/02/2080. This step is a part of the screening process for those who will be going to South Korea for employment through EPS in the field of Agriculture Livestock in 2023.
In previous years, the language test was conducted as a paper-based test (PBT). However, the EPS has implemented the Ubiquitous Base Test (UBT) tab for the past year. According to Pushparaj Katuwal, the director of the EPS Korea branch, with the implementation of the UBT examination system, the examination has become 100 percent transparent.
According to the EPS branch, in 2023, out of 10,758 people who applied for Agriculture Livestock through EPS, 37,274 people applied. The branch had fixed the application period from 04/09/2079 to 08/09/2079 for Agriculture Livestock. In 2022, more than 15,000 Nepalis have reached Korea for agriculture, animal husbandry and production through EPS.
