CTEVT Urgent Notice Regarding Results and Admission to Scholarship Program in Technical Education

The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Office of the Controller of Examinations, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur has issued an urgent notice on January 5, 2080, regarding the publication of results for the special scholarship program 2079 in technical education at the diploma/certificate and pre-diploma level in the academic session 2079/080, and admission to the schools recommended for admission.

Scholarship Program for Disadvantaged Groups

As per the budget and program of 2079/080, the Government of Nepal has provided technical education to 22 disadvantaged groups listed by the government, including the families of Dalits, Muslims, poor, Haliya, Kamaiya, disabled, conflict victims/martyrs/people's movement injured from all over the country (Wankaria, Baram, Bote, Chepang, Danuwar, Dhanuk, Hayu, Jhagad, Kisan, Kusunda, Lepcha, Majhi, Meche, Kuswadia, Raji, Raute, Satar, Sinsa, Siar, Surel, Thami, Thunam) in the prescribed quota from female students with Diploma/Certificate and Pre-Diploma level.

Publication of Results

The marks obtained in the entrance examination conducted on 2079/12/18 for the candidates who have submitted the application form by 2080/01/04 have been evaluated based on the highest marks to determine the merit order, and the main, passed list and the attached result list of successful candidates have been published.

Admission Process

As the admission process should be completed by the next day, candidates must submit all necessary documents (educational certificates, admission letter, class opening certificate, and copy of the result) to enroll in the designated school. Educational institutes designated for admission to the scholarship, as per the result published on www.ctevtexam.org.np, must receive certificates of the minimum educational qualification of the students recommended in their educational program, the recommendation letter of the relevant body in the quota, and the complete certificates of the admission letter. One copy of the same shall be kept on record in the school.

Guidelines for Conducting Entrance Exams and Admissions

The Council has informed that only the candidates who have met the educational qualifications will be admitted within the prescribed quota without taking any fee (deposit, library, practical, transportation, etc.) within the specified period. It is also informed that if candidates who do not meet the qualifications are admitted to the educational program without submitting the complete documents, the council registration of such candidates will not be maintained, so the principal of the relevant school will be responsible for the same.

In case the main examinee is not admitted within the mentioned period and the quota remains vacant in any educational program, the concerned school will publish a 7-day notice in the Gorkhapatra National Daily and make an alternative/waiting list.

Quota and Admission Criteria

The applications received from the existing examinees are registered in the original registration book of the school. If the quota of the target category, group of the educational program has become vacant, and the quota of the province has become vacant, and the quota has been vacant in the same program in the order of merit, then select from other programs of the same province in order of merit. Even after that, if the quota becomes vacant, participate in the entrance exam in the vacant quota from the pass list of other provinces. From among those who have passed, they have to apply for the desired program and enroll in the respective program according to the merit order.
