This notice is published to inform all concerned that the selection of trainees for the Basic Air Traffic Service Course (CAAN ATS – 008) has been finalized by the Trainee Selection Committee of the Civil Aviation Academy on 2081/04/30.

The selection was based on the merit order established by combining the marks obtained in the written examination conducted by the Public Service Commission (Advertisement No. 1-6/080-81, Open and Inclusive) and the average marks from the interviews.

A total of 27 candidates were selected for the interview from the written examination, of which 25 candidates attended the interviews held from 2081/04/27 to 2081/04/29. Out of these, 16 candidates have been selected as trainees.

Selected trainees must undergo a medical examination at their own expense from a Civil Aviation Authority-designated Civil Aviation Medical Examiner/Supervisor and submit a recommendation confirming their eligibility for ATS training with an ATC Licensing Class III Medical Report. This must be done within 15 days from the date of publication of this notice (by 2081/05/13).

The medical examination forms will be provided by the ATS Faculty of this Academy.

Successful trainees are required to attend an Orientation on Wednesday, 2081 Ashwin 02, at 10:00 AM at the CAAN premises in Sanothimi, Bhaktapur. Attendance is mandatory.
