Welfare schemes announced by Inspector General of Armed Police Shailendra Khanal on the special occasion of 21st Armed Police Day

A) Healthcare extension:

The Nepal APF Hospital, which is limited to Kathmandu, has been relocated to the Eastern Regional Hospital in Province No. 1, Chhinnamasta Field Hospital in Madhesh Pradesh, and Trauma Center in Bagmati Pradesh. And with the expansion of Mid-Western Regional Hospital Kohalpur in Lumbini province, a hospital is being set up in Gandaki province this year and one field hospital will be established in Karnali and Far-Western region next year.

B) Establishment of school in Sudurpashchim Pradesh

In order to provide quality and accessible education to the children of the rehabilitated and ex-armed police nationals, dependent families and the local general public, a school will be established at a suitable place in Sudurpashchim Pradesh as per the target of establishing one school in each of the seven states.

C) Installation of electric vehicle charging station and expansion of petrol pump

To establish Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan as soon as possible in line with the Government of Nepal's policy of promoting environmentally-friendly vehicles and means of transportation that consume clean energy and with the objective of timely increasing and securing the income of Armed Police Force, Nepal Welfare Fund. A necessary process will be taken forward.

In order to facilitate and manage the supply of fuel from time to time in the government, the necessary process for the operation of petrol pumps in suitable places of Bagmati and Far-Western states has been started and continued from this year.

D) Providing loans at the concessional interest rate for purchase of four-wheeler

While purchasing four-wheelers, the existing service period limit from Armed Police Inspector to Armed Police Superintendent will be removed and loans will be provided to the officers of all ranks above Armed Police Force, Armed Police Inspector working in Nepal at concessional interest rate.

E) Martyr Dedication Honor:

From among the wives of immortal martyrs who have attained martyrdom in the line of duty, the wife of the immortal martyr (single woman) who falls within the criteria laid down by the organization has been awarded Rs. 25,000 cash and an honorarium will be provided.

F) Increased support to the wife of the immortal martyr:

Under the program announced on the 21st Armed Police Day;

To the wife (single woman) of the immortal martyr who has passed away in the line of duty, the annual cash assistance of Rs. In 2000, Rs. Adding 500 in total Rs. 2500 has been established.

G) Free education for children:

One of the descendants of the Armed Police personnel who have passed away in the line of duty, who falls within the criteria set by the organization, is awarded the Nepal APF annually. Completely free education will be provided in the school.

H) Women Armed Police Staff-Friendly Arrangement in Cash Loan Scheme:

In order to keep the morale of the female Armed Police personnel working in the Armed Police Force-Nepal, 25 quotas will be added monthly on the cash loan quota which is being provided to the Armed Police personnel at a concessional interest rate through the Welfare Service Center. Accordingly, a total of 3600 Armed Police personnel, including 300 female Armed Police personnel, will directly benefit annually.

H) Establishment of child care center:

Continuing the policy of the organization to create a gender-friendly environment in the units of the Armed Police Force, Nepal, necessary arrangements will be made to provide pre-primary education to the children by the qualified Armed Police personnel working in the units for the convenience of female civil servants working from head office to battalion level.
