Urgent Notice from the Nepal Police Headquarters

The Nepal Police Headquarters under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of Nepal, situated at Naxal, and the Secretariat of Inspector General of Police (IGP), Legal Branch, are issuing an urgent notice to selected police personnel. It has been observed that these personnel have been voluntarily absent from their official duties, leading to significant disruption.

Unaccounted Absences

The police personnel involved have failed to maintain regular contact with their respective offices. This prolonged absence is despite the completion of all necessary administrative processes and the filing of official notices, as per Rule 115 of the Police Regulations, 2071. This failure to communicate or justify their absenteeism has initiated the necessity of this public notice.

Required Action

All concerned police personnel are hereby notified to report to their respective offices within seven (7) days of the publication of this notice, excluding the deadline for non-appearance. It is vital for the individuals involved to provide a satisfactory explanation for their continued absence.

Potential Consequences

Failure to respond to this notice with a satisfactory explanation may result in charges under sub-rule (1) of Rule 113 of the Police Regulations, 2071 (f) in the offense of A. This is in line with Rule 109 (b) (1) of the regulation.

Under these regulations, all concerned have been provided with an opportunity to defend themselves as a part of Schedule 14, part 4 hat, of the Police Regulation, 2071. Those failing to do so risk punitive measures under the aforementioned regulations.
