Urgent Notice from Lok Sewa Aayog:
The Public Service Commission has decided to conduct the remaining examinations for the posts which have already conducted one phase of the examination after the situation in the country returns to normal. The commission has stated that the same will be applicable in the case of examinations of security agencies and organized organizations.
As per the decision of the meeting of the Public Service Commission held on Monday, the first phase of the examination has already been held and the remaining examinations for the post of branch offices and Nayab subba will be held after the situation returns to normal.
Earlier, the public service had postponed the examinations for these posts indefinitely due to the increased risk of coronavirus infection. The cabinet meeting held on April 29 had requested the Public Service Commission to stop all the recruitment programs. However, the Commission had earlier made public the unofficial opinion that the examination should not be stopped in the case of a one-stage examination.
A meeting of the commission on Monday has made a formal decision in this regard. "Once the situation is normal in the case of advertisements which have been fully or partially conducted for the civil service in any phase of examination program (first stage is written examination, experimental examination, etc.), a new examination program for all the remaining examinations will be determined," said Devi Prasad Subedi, Information Officer of the Commission.
Examination of application collection only postponed
In the case of advertisements where applications have been collected but no examination program has been conducted at any stage, it has been postponed until further notice from the government.
It has been decided to stop the application process for various advertisements for Gazetted Unnumbered Second Class (Non-Technical Purchaser or similar posts) published on 28th Chaitra, 2076 from this Friday. The commission has stated that arrangements will be made to pay the fee.
The examination program of the advertisements has been postponed until another decision is taken by the Government of Nepal.
After the examination situation of the Judicial Service became normal
The meeting of the commission has also decided to postpone the publication of advertisements for the remaining posts as per the approved annual work schedule of the commission.
A new examination program will be determined after the situation becomes normal in the case of advertisement of judicial service posts under the jurisdiction of the Judicial Service Commission.
If the Judicial Service does not examine the Commission, the Commission will take the necessary decision on Soba.
