Udayapur Sees More Girls Students Than Boys in SEE Examination
In a surprising turn of events, the Udayapur district has recorded more Girls students than male students participating in this year's School Education Examination (SEE). According to the Education Development and Coordination Unit, Udayapur, 3,311 Girls students are taking part in SEE, while the number of male students is 2,882, indicating 429 more Girls examinees than male students.
Breakdown of the Numbers
The total number of examinees in the district is 6,193, comprising 5,859 regular candidates, 184 technical candidates, and 150 grade increment candidates. The examination is being conducted across 25 centers, with nine in Triyuga Municipality, four in Katari, four in Chaudandigadi, and three in Belka. Additionally, two centers have been assigned in Udayapurgadhi, and one each in Tapli, Limchungbung, and Rautamai rural municipalities.
Staffing for the Examination
According to Baburam Pokharel, head of the unit, 577 employees, including 25 center presidents, 41 assistant center presidents, 318 inspectors, 62 examination assistants, and 131 office assistants, will be mobilized for the examination. Additionally, security personnel will be deployed, with a minimum of 10 people per center and double the required number for larger centers.
Peaceful Conduct of the Examination
On the first day of the examination, SP Gyanendra Phuyal, the district police chief, reported the peaceful conduct of the examination across all centers. The examination is set to run from 31 March 2023 to 12 April 2023.
