TU's Officials, Teachers, and Employees Mandatory to Submission Property Detail

Tribhuvan University, the esteemed seat of learning, has once again taken the lead in promoting transparency and integrity among its staff. As per a recent directive from the Registrar's office, all officials, teachers, and staff of the University are required to submit their property details online.

This measure is in line with a standing rule that mandates the property statement to be filed within 60 days of the commencement of the fiscal year. Accordingly, the property statement for the fiscal year 2080/81 must be submitted using an online software platform. The software has been prepared by the National Vigilance Center (NVC) and was successfully utilized in the previous year as well.

Key points of the notice issued by the office are:

  • Officials, teachers, and staff are expected to submit their property details by the 20th of Bhadra.

  • The statement includes the details of all officials, teachers, and employees who submit their property details, with a specific provision for late submissions and non-submissions.

  • The notification stipulates that all such information must be uploaded onto the online software.

In a bid to ensure a comprehensive and seamless process, the University has further directed that all offices, campuses, and departments, beyond the central office, print out the property details of their respective officials, teachers, and employees. They are to upload the property details of fiscal year 2079/80 onto the software by the 20th of Bhadra 2080, and subsequently provide this information to the staff administration division.

Taking cognizance of possible late submissions, the office has made an allowance for those who submit between the 22nd and 28th of Bhadra 2080. However, these submissions should be entered into the online software on the same day of submission.

This digitization of the property statement submission process is indicative of Tribhuvan University's commitment to enhancing efficiency and fostering an environment of transparency and accountability. It aligns with their pursuit of best practices and emphasizes the importance of timeliness and precision in all operations.
