Following the annual examination system, Tribhuvan University (TU) will begin preparing question papers for all faculties' undergraduate programs in both English and Nepali languages for the upcoming academic year.
Tribhuvan University informed Education, Science, and Technology Minister Bidya Bhattarai about this decision on Monday, 2081 Kartik 5. According to the decision, in alignment with the previous letter from the ministry, the first phase will include the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Management, and Faculty of Law. The question papers for undergraduate exams in these faculties will be available in Nepali and English.
As per the Ministry of Education, this rule will be mandatory starting from the first-year examination of the upcoming academic year. It will be gradually implemented in the second, third, and fourth years. The decision was made during the Permanent Committee of the Tribhuvan University Academic Council meeting on Chaitra 15, 2080.

-
Inclusive Education: This change supports inclusivity, catering to students from diverse linguistic backgrounds and ensuring no student is disadvantaged due to language preference.
-
Better Opportunities for Higher Education: Bilingual exams help students improve their proficiency in both languages, making it easier to pursue higher education or career opportunities domestically or internationally.
-
