Tribhuvan University (TU) Directed for Virtual Class:

The Tribhuvan University (TU) has directed that the corona virus-affected districts' major city campuses should be taught through the virtual medium. Chief of the Information and Public Relations Division of Tribhuvan University, Yogendra Prasad Dahal, has instructed to conduct classes through the virtual medium as the infection of Covid-19 is increasing.

Earlier, the cabinet meeting held on Monday had decided to run classes in schools and colleges through online or alternative means till mid-April. According to him, theoretical classes will be conducted online in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kaski, Jhapa, Sunsari, Morang, Saptari, Janakpur, Makwanpur, Rupandehi, Butwal, Chitwan, Banke, Parsa, Nepalgunj, Dang, Surkhet, Baglung, and Mahendranagar.

TU has requested to conduct classes in the cities of other districts except for these big cities by implementing public health standards in coordination with the local level. Similarly, TU has requested all the offices, campuses, schools, and departments to take necessary precautions and conduct necessary examinations and not to hold any meeting, meeting, symposium, meeting without more than 25 students and to make necessary arrangements for masks, sanitizers, and soapy water.
