Tribhuvan University (TU) Appoints 24 Campus Chief

Tribhuvan University has appointed the Chief of 24 campuses. The appointments were made at the TU Executive Council meeting on Sunday, 28 Poush 20281.

According to Tribhuvan University spokesperson Bohara, an open application was called for the post of campus head through a selection committee. The appointment was made based on the recommendation made by the selection committee, informed TU spokesperson Aman Singh Bohara.

Although the Tribhuvan University Executive Council had formed a selection and recommendation committee in 2081 Asoj, there had been delays in the recommendation and appointment. There had been criticism that the process was long when appointments were made at many campuses at once. Provisions were being made for acting campus heads on these campuses.
