Tribhuvan University Prepared to Complete All Exam Till End of Poush:
Tribhuvan University (TU) is preparing to complete the examinations of all the faculties within the Poush end. TU is preparing to conduct examinations at all levels along with the four-year regular and part-time examination schedule for BSc, BBS, and BEd faculties of Science and Technology, Management and Education faculties to be conducted from Mangsir 28.
‘The university has already made public the final level schedule. After that, we will conduct other level examinations to be completed within Poush, ”said Registrar Prof Dr. Dahal. Since it is impossible to take the exam in winter, TU has prepared the schedule so that it can be completed in Pus. Most campuses have been on winter break since Poush 15th.
Registrar Prof. Dr. Peshal Dahal informed that preparations are being made to complete it by the end of this year. According to him, Mangsir and Poush will conduct the examination throughout the month.
TU has not been able to decide on the method of conducting the examination. According to the Registrar Prof. Dr. Dahal, arrangements have been made to attend the examination in person. "If Covid-19 infection increases, alternative methods can be adopted. We have not discussed this issue yet," he said.
TU has made arrangements to conduct the examination from the center of the local body. TU has already filled the online form so that all the students can come to the valley, district headquarters, and city due to Covid-19.
According to the University Grants Commission, examinations of 4,15,482 students under the faculties of humanities, management, law, education, and science and technology have been postponed.
Registrar Prof. Dr. Dahal informed that the studies will be conducted as per the additional plan after the examination of all the students. He said that an arrangement has been made for the students to take the exam from a suitable center.
Due to Covid-19, the students' union had put pressure on them after repeated attempts to conduct the postponed examination from Chaitra last year. Due to the pressure of the students and other universities to complete the exam online, TU is forced to take the exam.
TU will conduct examinations in all faculties except engineering, medical education, agriculture, and forestry. As few students have studied in those faculties, the dean's office is conducting the examination itself.
TU has also made arrangements for students to print and get their tickets online. Due to Covid-19, all the exams under TU from 7th Chaitra last year were postponed.
