Tribhuvan University Exam Postponed Due to By-elections on 10th Baisakh

The Controller of Examinations, Pushparaj Joshi, has announced the postponement of the Tribhuvan University examination scheduled for 10th Baisakh. The decision was made in a meeting of the Central Examination Committee of Tertiary University, held on Thursday.

Reason for the Postponement

The by-elections of the Federal Parliament are scheduled to take place on the same day as the examination, which is why the Election Commission, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology requested the postponement of the exam.

New Date and Time

The postponed examination will now be conducted on 16th Baisakh, at the same time and place as previously scheduled. The annual examination of the first year of graduation is already underway and began on the 4th of Baisakh.

Bye-elections Information

The bye-elections are being held in three different constituencies, including Chitwan Constituency No. 2, Tanahun Constituency No. 1, and Bara Constituency No. 2. These elections will take place on 10th Baisakh.

The Tribhuvan University Examination Control Office's decision to postpone the examination was necessary to avoid any clash between the examination and the by-elections. The new date and time provide ample time for students to prepare and ensure they take the exam without any disturbance.
