Total 5 Coronavirus Infected Nepalese Died in UK:
Five non-resident Nepalese have died in Britain since Wednesday evening due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Nepalese living in Nottingham, England, died Wednesday evening after the death of a coroner that had risen to five.
According to Pashupati Pokharel, a senior of the non-resident Nepali expedition based in Nottingham, Ex Gorkha Shiv Shrestha died Wednesday afternoon while undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
Shrestha, 58, of Solukhumbuka, has been in isolation since last week. Pokharel, who called himself an ambulance and went to the hospital at around 3 am on Wednesday.
According to social worker Ran Bahadur KC, he was living in Nottingham with two sons, his wife. He was a founding member of the local Nottingham Nepali society. He had been in isolation for the past week.
Meanwhile, only two Nepalese died at Northwick Park Hospital in London. According to former London unit president Deepak (David) Gurung, 59-year-old ex Gorkha Chet Prasad Gurung died on Tuesday evening while undergoing treatment at Northwick Park Hospital in London's Harrow.
Earlier in the UK, an ex Gurkha soldier, Leela Bahadur Rai, died at the same hospital at the age of 66 due to corona. Likewise, a 3-year-old man who came to visit his son-in-law on Wednesday afternoon was found dead at the same hospital.
Earlier, Prashant Aryal of Chitwan, who lives in Ashland, died due to a corona infection. In the Nepalese community of the UK, Corona is reported to be accelerating. Many have kept the Corona infection secret.
As of Thursday evening, 7 thousand 97 people, including 5 Nepalese, were died due to coronavirus in the UK. More than 60,000 people have been infected.
