Teacher Service Commission (TSC) 11th Amendment Rules 2078 has been approved. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Council of Ministers on Monday. With this decision, the way has been opened for the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) to open vacancy advertisements. As soon as the rules of TSC are amended, advertisements will be opened to fill the vacant teacher posts.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers on Monday approved the 11th Amendment Rules 2078 of the Teachers Service Commission and opened the way for 17,047 teachers to open advertisements.
In the provision related to the integer and pass mark of Article 18 of the rules, it was mentioned that the integer of the competitive examination to be taken from TSC would be as follows. It was proposed to amend the point and make an open competitive examination.
Similarly, it was proposed to amend point two of the provision of Article 38 examination syllabus and other provisions related to promotion recommendation. The TSC had taken a proposal to the Council of Ministers six months ago to amend the Teacher Service Regulations. When the Minister of Education was not appointed, the process of amending the rules could not proceed.
The way has been opened to open the posts of 17,000 teachers. Earlier, the TSC had submitted a proposal to the Council of Ministers to amend the Teacher Service Regulations, but the process of amending the regulations was stopped due to technical reasons. Due to the lack of amendment in the regulations, an open advertisement for teacher selection, internal promotion, and teaching license examination was postponed.
The Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD) has sent details to TSC that there are 17,047 vacancies in community schools across the country. The CEHRD has submitted details to the commission that there are 12,912 vacancies at the primary level, 2,593 vacancies at the lower secondary level, and 1,542 vacancies at the secondary level.
