Student Union draws the government's attention to School tuition fees:

Students' organizations have drawn the attention of the government saying that parents should not be forced to pay tuition fees for the period when the educational institution is closed.

The All Nepal National Independent Students 'Union (ANNISU) and the Nepal Students' Union (NSU) have urged the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology to pay immediate attention to the issue.

ANNISU Coordinator Ain Mahar and Co-Coordinator Ranjit Tamang and Nevisangha President Rajiv Dhungana made the request in a statement issued on Monday.

Rituraj Sapkota, President of National Private and Residential Schools Organization Nepal (N-PABSON) and Tikaram Puri, President of Private and Residential Schools Organization Nepal (PABSON) urged the parents to participate in the work of archiving while maintaining social distance.

Private sector schools claim that it is difficult to pay the teachers and staff as the government has not announced a relief program and students have not been charged.
