Stakeholders of Palpa Suggest Making Technical Education Mandatory for All

In a recent convention and honor program of Nepal Teachers Association Palpa, stakeholders have suggested that technical education should be made mandatory to prepare competent and productive manpower. The suggestion was made in recognition of the importance of technical education in providing quality education and producing skilled manpower for the social, economic, cultural, and infrastructure development of the country.

Education for Sustainable Peace, Good Governance, Development, and Prosperity

According to Rajendraraj Paudel, Central President of the Nepal Teachers' Association, education plays an important role in sustainable peace, good governance, development, and prosperity in the country. He emphasized that skilled, scientific, practical, and quality education is the cornerstone of a prosperous Nepal. Therefore, he believes that access to quality education is crucial for the overall development of the country.

Eliminating the Misconception About Private and Public Education

Yadavsingh Karki, the spokesperson of Tansen Municipality, emphasized that there should not be a difference between eating and drinking while in education. He stressed the need to remove the misconception that studies are good in private schools but not in government schools.

Ending the Distinction Between Private and Public Education

Krishna Thapa, President of the Teacher's Association of Palpa, said that the distinction made by the state between private and public education should be ended. When education does not even provide the basic skills needed for livelihood, he believes that this distinction is unnecessary.

Implementation and Monitoring of Education Policies

Dhankala Gaha, president of the Nepal Teachers' Association Palpa branch, believes that although the policies prepared in the education sector are good, they are unstable due to the lack of implementation and monitoring. Therefore, if there is to be a radical reform in education, the education policy should be implemented.

Practical Education and Technical Knowledge Emphasis

Ashok Ghimire, secretary of the association, emphasized that although various types of training are being conducted for teachers for quality education, there is no practical education. He believes that laptops should be arranged for every teacher, and policy rules should be made emphasizing technical knowledge in future exams. This will not only improve the quality of education but also prepare the future generation for a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

Overall, stakeholders in Nepal are recognizing the importance of technical education for the overall development of the country. They believe that access to quality education and the implementation of education policies are crucial for sustainable peace, good governance, development, and prosperity in Nepal.
