Upa Sachiv Sita Pariyar has become the first Chief District Officer (CDO) from the Dalit community. The Home Ministry has given her the responsibility of CDO of Humla.
Pariyar, a permanent resident of Rupa Rural Municipality-6 of Kaski, had entered the civil service in 2068 BS as a Section Officer. Three years later, she Passed the Upa Sachiv Post from Open Competition. Recently, she was working as Assistant Chief District Officer at the District Administration Office, Bhaktapur.
She said that she was proud to be the first female CDO from the Dalit community. She said that she was proud to be the first female CDO from her community and that she would work professionally to fulfill the responsibility given to her by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
