The Purbakhola Rural Municipality of Palpa district has launched a similar school dress to bring uniformity in education.
The school has started distributing the costume to the students according to the policy and program of Fiscal Year 2076/77 and decided to wear a uniform at all schools operating within Gaupalika.
According to Nun Bahadur Thapa, chairman of Gaupalika, Rs. 1.8 million has been allocated for the use of one-of-a-kind school attire in 38 schools operating within Purbakhola Gauplaika. "We have launched this campaign to widen the educational sector to create a distinct identity in education, promote mutual harmony, eliminate discrimination between the schools and bring uniformity," he said.
All schools within Gaunpalika also have a similar color scheme. Chairman Thapa said that there is a plan to cooperate with the state government in this regard. The school inside Gaunpalika has been designated as a gray shirt and a dark blue colored Paint school dress.
Principal Krishna Prasad Pangeni said that Purbakhola distributed the same kind of costume to 103 students of Janjuswal Basic School in Ward No. 3 of Gauplaika with the help of Gaunpalika. "After making a costume of the same type, wherever it goes, students of Purbakhola will be identified, it is hoped that there will be support for the educational quality," he said.
Other schools are also preparing to distribute some of the school funding with the help of the villagers. Gaunplaika has been conducting education by integrating five institutional schools into community schools from this academic session to enhance the quality of education, bridge the gap between institutional and community schools.
