SEE Students Demand Refund of Exam Fees:
SEE Students has been demanded that the fees charged for the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) should be refunded after the results are published without SEE Exam.
The National Examination Board had collected Rs. 500 per student for the examination fee. The Community School Management Committees Federation of Nepal (SMC Federation) has demanded that at least half of the fee should be returned to the school where the students are studying.
SMC Federation President Krishna Thapa informed that they have demanded to refund the fees after the decision to publish the results of the students was made on the basis of the internal evaluation of the school. The government has been charging a total of Rs 600 from the students for the examination fee but the concerned school has already kept Rs 100.
Meanwhile, the Center for Education Development and Human Resource Development has issued a circular to all local levels on Thursday requesting them to implement the decisions taken by the Council of Ministers on education. Director of the department Gehnath Gautam said that the local level has been formally informed to implement the government's decision.
The government had decided to start educational activities including student enrollment from 17th August (1st Bhadra) and teachers should also visit the school.
