SEE Result Will be Published Next Week:
The results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) will be published next week. This information was given by Ram Raj Khakurel, Controller of Examinations of the National Examination Board Examination Controller Office (Class 10).
In an education dialogue on 'Internal Assessment of SEE: Experience and Outcome' organized by the Education Journalists Group on Monday, he said that the results had come from all 77 districts and work was being done to verify them. He said that the results are being verified and will be published in a week. The National Examination Board has stated that there are 10,419 secondary schools across the country that send results through the Education Development and Coordination Unit through internal assessment.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor of Melamchi Municipality Dambar Aryal expressed sorrow over the non-participation of the local level in the evaluation despite the support of the municipality. Dipendra Dhakal, head of the Education Development and Coordination Unit, Rupendehi, said that the internal evaluation work of the schools in Rupendehi was commendable.
Sarita Gurung, principal of Jayanti Secondary School, Dailekh, said that a three-member committee has been formed in the school as per the procedure of student evaluation. She said that although there was no problem in the evaluation work in her school, other schools reported their experience of the problem. She said that they have assessed the students according to the terminal examination. Krishna Thapa, president of the Federation of Nepal School Management Committees, said that the current evaluation system has given a new experience. He suggested that the school's assessment should be credible. He said that it would be better if even the municipalities could participate in the verification of the assessment.
The program was attended by school teachers, educators, and journalists. Along with Kovid 19, a group of education journalists is holding a program on Monday as an education bar. This is the 20th education dialogue organized by the Education Journalists Group.
