The final results of the Class 10 Secondary Education Examination (SEE) will be published by the end of Shrawan. The Education Development and Coordination Unit in the district has not been able to update the details of the students so far and the publication of results has been postponed for a few days due to floods and landslides in different districts.
Controller of Examinations (NEB) Rudra Adhikari said that they are ready to publish the results by the end of Shrawan. He said that the details of students should come from the Education Development and Coordination Units in all 77 districts. Although the board gave the coordination unit a deadline to send the details to the end of Ashad, so far only the details have come from one district and it has been returned due to inconsistency.
It has been estimated that there may be some delay in the preparation of the coordination unit, but now the board has decided not to extend the deadline to send the details of the students to the coordination unit. It has been stated that the deadline will not be extended even if it is delayed for a few days as the districts that have prepared the details will not send the details when the deadline is extended. After receiving all the details, NEB will update the details of the student and publish the final result.
In addition, due to the floods and landslides in Ashad, many schools have complained that they have difficulty in completing the internal assessment of students, officials said. The school has submitted the results of the internal assessment to the Education Development and Coordination Unit of the district. NEB had given a deadline of 20 days to submit its details to the unit. Currently, the coordination unit is verifying the details of the students received from the school.
Looking at the internal preparations of NEB, it is expected that the students of SEE will start studying in class 11 in Bhadra. It is seen that the class will be conducted only from Bhadau if it takes time to publish the results by end of the Shrawan 2078. Earlier, the board had started teaching class 11 from Bhadra 15.
While the results of SEE have not been made public, the secondary schools teaching classes 11 and 12 have started pre-registering students in class 11. It has been found that students are pre-registered to get information about their enrollment and study subjects. It has been claimed that pre-registration will be useful to enroll the students in the indigenous educational institutions in the absence of formal classes of class 11 for another month.
