Preparations for the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2081 have been completed across Lumbini Province. The Ministry of Social Development of Lumbini Province has stated that preparations for the SEE, which will begin on Thursday at 8 AM, have been finalized.
According to the ministry, 94,908 students will be participating in the examination across Lumbini Province this year. Minister for Social Development Janmajay Timilsina informed that 348 examination centers have been designated to conduct the exams in an organized manner. According to him, 8,600 personnel have been mobilized. Similarly, he mentioned that all necessary preparations for the examination have been completed throughout Lumbini Province. "All preparations required to conduct the examination have been completed," he said, "Now, only the students reaching the examination centers and appearing for the exams confidently is remaining."
According to the Acting Director General of the Directorate of Education and Social Development, Reshmiraj Aryal, this year, the highest number of students, 22,623, will take the exam from Rupandehi. Similarly, 14,254 from Dang, 9,461 from Kapilvastu, and 10,274 from Banke will participate in the exams. In Palpa, 4,910; Gulmi, 4,857; Arghakhanchi, 3,465; Rolpa, 4,765; Pyuthan, 4,940; Bardiya, 7,762; Nawalparasi West, 6,397; and Rukum East, 1,200 students will be appearing in the exams.
Likewise, there are 74,598 students under the regular category, while 20,310 students are appearing for grade improvement. Similarly, 3,174 students will be taking the exam under the technical stream.
To ensure the examination is fair and disciplined, 348 chief invigilators, 634 assistant chief invigilators, 4,758 inspectors, 958 assistants, and 1,902 office assistants have been mobilized, he stated. The ministry also mentioned that the Directorate of Education is preparing to deploy monitoring teams to ensure fairness in the examination.
