SEE 2079 (31 March 2023): All Preparation Completed

The Secondary Education Examination (SEE) for the year 2079 is set to begin from 8 am on Friday, 17th Chaitra (31 March 2023). The National Examination Board has confirmed that all preparations for the exams have been completed. Chairman of the National Examination Board, Mahashram Sharma, has appealed to everyone to conduct the examination peacefully, with dignity and in an orderly manner. This year, about 5 lakh examinees will participate in the SEE exams.

SEE Exam Details

In order to participate in the SEE exam, a total of 4,84,227 students have filled the form in class 10. Bagmati Province has the highest number of 1,6,959 students, and Karnali Province has the lowest number of 41,329 students participating in the exam. About 15,000 students will participate in the examination for the technical stream. Two thousand nine hundred and eighty-two students from 65 schools where Sanskrit is taught and 50 blind students are participating in the exam. This year, 11,829 schools including 7,200 community schools and 4,564 institutional schools are participating in SEE. A total of 2037 examination centers have been determined for the examination in Japan and 2036 in 77 districts of the country.

Photography Prohibited

Students are advised to take the exam with confidence and without fear. Exam Controller Shrestha has prohibited photography inside the exam hall, stating that it can disrupt the examinees and their morale. The media personnel are allowed to take pictures of the activities outside the examination center, but they are not allowed to go inside the examination hall to take pictures after the examination has started.

Manpower Mobilization

About 78,000 manpower, including examination center presidents, assistants, inspectors, examination assistants, security personnel, employees, and helpers, will be mobilized in each examination center across the country. The question papers and answer sheets required for the examination have been printed and delivered to the districts. 5 million sets of question papers have been printed, and the National Examination Board has printed different sets of question papers according to the state and transported them accordingly.

The National Examination Board has ensured all necessary arrangements for the SEE 2079, and students are expected to perform to the best of their abilities. Exam Schedule for SEE 2079

The Secondary Education Examination (SEE) for the year 2079 has been scheduled to take place from 17th Chaitra to 29th Chaitra. The exam will start at 8 AM and end at 11 AM. Here is a breakdown of the exam schedule:

Day 10 (Tuesday, 28th Chaitra)

  • Industrial Entomology and Mushroom, Animal Health, Electrical Machine, Micro Process, Highway Engineering, Music Business and Program Management exams for technical students

Day 11 (Wednesday, 29th Chaitra)

  • Floriculture and Nursery Management, Veterinary Laboratory Technique, Industrial Installation and Maintenance, Object Oriented Programming, Estimating Casting and Supervision and optional subjects of singing, music, instrumental and dance exams will be held.
