Schools Resumed Classes in Biratnagar:
Schools in Biratnagar, which have been closed for nine months due to the Corona epidemic, have resumed operations on Thursday. Schools closed from 2076 Chaitra 6 are open from Thursday.
According to the decision to run the school with vigilance after the number of infections decreased in Biratnagar where the epidemic has spread at the community level; Durga Prasad Khatiwada, Chief of Education Branch of Biratnagar Metropolitan City informed that the school is open.
The education committee of the metropolis had decided to conduct classes from Thursday on 21st Mangsir. In the context of Covid-19 passed by the Council of Ministers, the metropolis had given permission to operate the school as per the guideline of school work framework-2077.
"Schools are open from today but the number of students is low," he said. In some places, we have given instructions to manage as there are up to three people on the same bench. '
Tikaram Puri, central chairman of the private and institutional school organization PABSON, said that the school has started conducting classes with security vigilance with the permission of the metropolis.
According to Puri, who is also the principal of Everest School, the schools have conducted online and physical classes for the students.
The metropolis has adopted the modality of conducting classes online and physically in attendance, as Corona is at risk. Most private schools are teaching half the students online and half the students in the classroom.
