Schools in Syangja to be Resumed from Ashoj

A smart lockdown has been done in Syangja by changing the form of prohibition. The District Administration Office Syangja issued a notice on Friday extending the format of the smart lockdown to September 26, 2021.

Chief District Officer Deepak Raj Nepal informed that the order has been issued as per the procedure of Smart Lockdown 2078 as the risk of corona infection has been decreasing in the district recently. Smart lockdown now allows schools to operate physically.

The local level has also been urged to monitor and take action if the school is operating without fulfilling the criteria. A meeting of the DCCMC and the District Security Committee on Friday decided to implement a smart lockdown for the prevention and control of the disease.

Similarly, the local level will monitor the operation of the school regularly in a physical presence to create an environment where the health standards are fully complied with and if any school is found to be not complying with the health standards, the school administration and management will be made responsible and the local level will be recommended for necessary action.

It is mentioned that the festivals of this period can be observed only in a symbolic manner with full participation by following the health protocol and conducting economic, social, and business activities by the general public, groups and institutions. Prohibitory orders have been issued in the district since May 4, 2021.
