Schools in Doti Resumed Regular Classes:

Regular classes have started in all the government and private schools in all the nine local levels of Doti. The students here are also happy that they have been able to go to school as soon as the school, which has been closed for the last 9 months due to Covid-19, has started teaching.

Despite fears of corona infection in the district, schools are running smoothly. The teachers have been claiming that the school has come into operation following the criteria prescribed by the government. A teacher of Kedareshwor Secondary School in Shikhar Municipality-1, Kapalleki said that the number of students in the village schools is also significant after the school came into operation after a long period of closure. He said, "Schools have reopened after a long time and the participation of students has also increased significantly."

The school has been operating since its inception. Harka Bahadur Khadka of Adarsh Rural Municipality-2 said that the students who stayed at home for at least eight months due to the corona epidemic were very happy to go to school. He said, "Students were tense when they had to stay at home for months. Now that the school is open, they are happily going to school." He says that most of the students here are now going to school regularly as they enjoy school more than home.

Mahendra Bahadur Shah, a local of Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality-4, said that the parents are worried that the corona infection may spread from the schools as there are at least 200 schools in all nine local levels of the district including secondary, lower secondary, primary, and private schools. He said, "Schools have reopened after a long time. There is still a risk of corona in the district. There is a strong possibility that corona risk can spread from students through general negligence. It is necessary to take precautions."

Sunlal Thapa, principal of Ghanteshwor Secondary School, Jorayal, said that the school is being run using hand washing water, health and hygiene facilities to cover the mouth when coughing or sneezing, and to keep the students warm. "Teaching is challenging, but we have all the safety techniques to prevent corona infection," he said. He said that due to the cold weather, there is a strong possibility that the children of the lower class will have more problems than the older class.

It is said that all the schools here have been operating on the basis of health-related standards and school operation framework-2077 BS. The guideline stipulates that health-related standards must be fully complied with, that students should be taught in one shift or in different shifts, depending on the physical condition of the school and the number of students, and that it is not possible to conduct all classes at the same time. It has been mentioned that it should be done.
