Rajan Rokaya Won Pokhara International Marathon Championship:

The Pokhara International Marathon organized by the former Kheladi Manch Nepal in Pokhara, Rajan Rokaya completed the prescribed 42 km distance in two hours, 28 minutes, and 56 seconds and won a cash prize of Rs. Two lakh and received a trophy.

Similarly, the runners of the army have also won the second and third place titles. Army's Gyan Prasad Bhattarai completed the race in two hours, 33 minutes, and 48 seconds, earning Rs. One lakh prizes have been received.

Similarly, Deviraj Basnet crossed the marathon distance in two hours 42 minutes and 33 seconds and bagged the third-place prize of Rs. 75 thousand have been received. Pradip Tamang of Panchthar crossed the distance in two hours 54 minutes and eight seconds. He has received 25,000 prizes and trophies.

For the first time this year, the Pokhara Marathon included a 21 km half marathon for women. In which Rajpura Pachai of Nepal Police has won the title of half marathon. Completing the prescribed distance in one hour 27 minutes and eight seconds, he earned Rs. One lakh and received a trophy.

Similarly, Ram Maya Budha of Jumla finished the race in one hour 30 minutes, and five seconds and secured the second position. He paid Rs. She has received 75,000 awards.

Brinda Shrestha of the Armed Police Force crossed the finish line in one hour 31 minutes and two seconds and secured the third position. He paid Rs. She has received 50,000 prizes. Rekha Bista of Nepal Police completed the half marathon in one hour 36 minutes and two seconds and got a consolation place. He paid Rs. The marathon started from Pokhara Stadium, reached different areas, and ended at the stadium. There were 209 participants in the men's marathon and 29 in the women's half marathon.

The prizes were distributed to the winners by Gandaki Chief Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung, Member Secretary of the National Sports Council (NSC) Ramesh Kumar Silwal, Chairman of the Nepal Olympic Committee Jeevan Ram Shrestha, and Chairman of the Forum Tej Bahadur Gurung.
