Quarterly Performance Report of Ministry of Education

First Quarterly Performance Report of the Ministry of Education 2076/77

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology have prepared this Annual Progress Report, as it did in previous years, covering the work performed by the Ministry and the subordinate bodies in fiscal year 2075/076. This report outlines the achievements, financial and material progress, problems seen in implementation of the program, the problems and challenges and solutions to the implementation of the programs by formulating an annual implementation plan for the implementation of the policies and programs of the Government of Nepal for fiscal year 2075/076 and the budget statement related to this Ministry.

In addition to this, the report has been prepared by attaching subordinate bodies with the progress report received in the format prescribed by the National Planning Commission. The fiscal year 2075/076 does not include details of major achievements and material and financial progress achieved through the use of equalization and conditional grants provided by the Government of Nepal at the state and local levels.

Budget approval from the Federal Parliament before the start of the Fiscal Year, the provision of a straightforward resolution of the programs included in the budget ministry's budget information system at the beginning of the fiscal year, although the expected implementation of the budget and programs could not be improved as expected. Monitoring and evaluation play an important role in the effective implementation of educational policies and programs. Strong monitoring and evaluation systems of education-related projects and programs will help to provide the necessary facts and information at the right time. By doing this, realistic information can be obtained as to whether or not our steps have been taken towards achieving the goals and objectives set by the State.

There are Monitoring and Evaluation branches under the Planning, and Evaluation Division under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology to manage the monitoring and evaluation work. Similarly, there is a Planning and Monitoring Branch under the Education and Human Resource Development Center under the Educational Planning and Development Division. Likewise, branches have been arranged for monitoring and evaluation work in all the central bodies.
