QR Code Payment Service to Pay Fare on SAFA TEMPO in Kathmandu Valley:
Prabhu Bank has launched a service that allows its mobile banking service users to pay the fare through QR code while traveling at Safa Tempo in Kathmandu Valley.
This service can also be used by users of other banks' mobile banking services. The QR code service will be available at Safa Tempo operated by women drivers in the Kathmandu Valley in collaboration with Prabhu Bank Ltd and Idea Studio Nepal.
The QR code of Prabhu Bank Ltd. has been placed in the Safa Tempo operated by female drivers. The passengers traveling in the Safa Tempo can easily pay the fare by scanning the QR code from their mobile.
The QR code service launched by Prabhu Bank Ltd. will free the passengers from the hassle of carrying cash to pay the fare, the bank said. The bank is confident that this will also help in digital payments.
