Purbanchal University 13th Convocation

In the presence of Prime Minister and Chancellor KP Sharma Oli, on 2081 Falgun 28, Tuesday, the 13th convocation ceremony of Purvanchal University was held. A total of 8,150 students were conferred degrees at the convocation ceremony.

Among the graduates, there are 204 from the Faculty of Arts, 407 from Law, 906 from the Faculty of Education, 2,249 from the Faculty of Management, 2,198 from the Faculty of Medical Sciences, 654 from the Faculty of Science and Technology, and 1,442 from the Faculty of Engineering.

After concluding the convocation ceremony program, Prime Minister Oli is addressing the Koshi Provincial Assembly.

Prime Minister and Chancellor of Purvanchal University KP Sharma Oli expressed his commitment that the government will continuously support universities in providing scientific and technologically advanced quality education.

He stated that only if the education system advanced by the universities can be made scientific and technology-integrated will the nation’s prosperity campaign succeed, and he affirmed that the government will provide committed support for its improvement.

Addressing the 13th convocation ceremony of Purvanchal University held on Tuesday in Gothgaun of Morang, he expressed this view.

He stressed that the university should promote education that is technology-linked, research-oriented, and employment-driven.

He also conveyed his commitment that the government will support the university’s educational reform campaign and its physical infrastructure.

Prime Minister Oli stated that he will offer the full support of the government to establish Purvanchal University as an outstanding educational destination.

Addressing the graduates from various faculties at the ceremony, Prime Minister Oli also urged them to engage in the development of the country rather than emigrating abroad.

He further stated, "I want to urge you: do not consider emigrating abroad; now, roll up your sleeves and work to build the country for its prosperity."

Wishing congratulations to the graduating students, Prime Minister Oli urged them to actively contribute to the country’s economic, social, and educational development by utilizing their skills, knowledge, and expertise.

He clearly stated, "We must not only acquire education but also apply what we have learned to contribute to the country’s prosperity."

Prime Minister Oli urged all the educated manpower among the graduates to seek opportunities within the country, embrace creative entrepreneurship, and contribute to the overall development of the nation.

He stated, "We must link education with employment. We need to use the knowledge and skills acquired here to become entrepreneurs in our own country."
