Prohibitory orders in Three Local Levels of Makwanpur District from Baishakh 19 Midnight to 31 Midnight:
The local administration has issued Prohibitory Orders in the Makwanpur district saying that the risk of Covid-19 infection is increasing. Prohibitory orders have been issued in four local levels of the district including Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City from Baishakh 19 Sunday midnight to Baishakh 31 midnight.
The Chief District Officer of Makwanpur issued a restraining order on Saturday stating that Prohibitory Orders will be enforced in the entire area of ââHetauda Sub-metropolis, Thaha Municipality, and Bhimfedi Rural Municipality.
No one will be allowed to go out and walk out of the house at the nearest footpath to buy medicine, food items, essential items in the area of ââ500 meters on the left and right side of Manahari Rural Municipality East-West (Mahendra Highway) including these three local levels.
Chief District Officer of Makwanpur, Bharatmani Pandey, informed that the District Security Committee, Makwanpur, has issued Prohibitory Orders on the basis of the recommendation of the District Covid-19 Crisis Management Center.
Chief District Officer of Makwanpur Pandey said that it has been decided to issue Prohibitory Orders as the infection of Covid-19 is increasing in the district.
According to him, the shop selling food, water, milk, fish, meat, eggs, and vegetables will be open only from 5 am to 9 am during the Prohibitory Orders period.
Pharmacies, petrol pumps, gas depots, oxygen cylinders, vehicle repair works, and all other lighting businesses will be closed.
The District Administration Office, Makwanpur has issued Prohibitory Orders for ambulances, vehicles carrying patients, food items, milk, vegetables, drinking water, tankers carrying petroleum products, hearses, garbage management vehicles, vehicles carrying livestock, vehicles used by health workers, media personnel and security agencies. It is mentioned that the operation of any type of public and private vehicles except the vehicles permitted by the district administration offices has been banned.
Long-distance vehicles, freight vehicles, and construction materials from other districts passing through the East-West Highway have been able to move freely in this district.
The order issued by the Chief District Officer states that one-third of the essential government services will be managed by the employees and run on a rotating system.
