Prohibitory Orders Extended Till Jestha 6 in Parsa District:
It has been recommended to continue the prohibitory orders (lockdown) imposed in Parsa till May 20. A meeting of the District Covid-19 Crisis Management Center (DCCMC) has recommended maintaining prohibitory orders till midnight of Jestha 6 (May 20, 2021).
A meeting chaired by the Chief District Officer on Wednesday has taken various decisions related to epidemic control.
As the prohibitory orders issued for infection control and prevention have been found to be useful in breaking the chain of infection of Covid-19, the meeting has decided to recommend to the Chief District Officer to extend it till midnight on May 20.
The meeting has decided to implement the decision to operate the PCR laboratory of Narayani Hospital in three shifts round the clock. For that, it has been decided to hire three manpower including Medical, Microbiologist (MSc / MD), and Lab Technologist.
According to the District Administration Office, Parsa, it has been decided to provide the remuneration of the health workers to be kept by Narayani Hospital for a maximum of three months through DCCMC after completing the necessary procedures.
The coordination meeting on control and prevention of covid, chaired by the Chief District Officer, had decided to run the PCR laboratory round the clock on Bahishakh 26.
More than 288 PCR tests have not been conducted daily due to the non-operation of the laboratory round the clock. There is only four skilled manpower in the lab, including the chief.
