Prohibitory Orders Extended till Jestha 17 in Banke District:

Prohibitory orders in Banke have been extended till May 31 to control corona infection. An order issued by Banke Chief District Officer Shivlal Gelal on Monday stated that the prohibitory orders would be continued till 12 midnight on Jestha 17 (31st May 24, 2021) as the corona infection was not under control.

During the prohibitory orders period, all types of vehicles, shops, and bazaars are banned from operating except for essential services. It is mentioned in the order that walking is also prohibited except for such urgent work.

According to the District Administration Office, shops for daily necessities will be open from 7 am to 11 am. The administration has also warned that those who disobey or disobey the order and obstruct the work will be punished according to the law.

Prohibitory orders have been imposed in Banke since 26 April 2021 after the second wave of corona infection spread rapidly.
