Prohibitory Orders Extended Till Jestha 13 in Rautahat District:

District Administration Office Rautahat has been extended prohibitory orders in the district for the second time for seven days. According to the District Administration Office, Rautahat, prohibitory orders have been added till May 27 (Jestha 13, 2078) to reduce the risk of corona infection in the community and the general public.

A notice issued by the district administration office has urged no one to go out of the house except for urgent work throughout the prohibitory orders.

Similarly, all other bodies and services except health, electricity, telecommunications, food, milk, garbage management, gas, petroleum products, medicine, food, vegetable supply are also prohibited, while ambulances, sub-vehicles, fire engines, and other vehicles are only allowed. Operation is permitted.

Chief District Officer Indra Dev Yadav said that hotels, restaurants, clothes shops, gyms, educational institutions, beauty parlors, and haat bazaars have been banned.

Prohibitory orders issued by the administration have not been fully complied with in Rautahat. At the same time, in most parts of the district, haat bazaars, hotels, and other businesses are also in operation. The administration has not been able to take any action as mentioned in the notice even when the market was set up on the eastern side of Gaur Municipality on a daily basis.

The administration has not taken care of the operation of shops and business in the inner settlement and the operation of non-essential passenger vehicles on the Chandranigahapur road section of Rautahat under the East-West Highway.
