Prohibitory Orders Extended in Kathmandu Valley by 10 Days till June 14: Prohibitory orders have been extended for another 10 days in Kathmandu Valley from June 4 to June 14. A meeting of the Chief District Officers of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur on Wednesday decided to extend prohibitory orders till June 14.

Earlier, the prohibitory orders that started on April 29 have been extended till May June 3. Grocery stores were also closed from May 28 to June 3. Now, it has been decided to open the grocery store till 9 am, said Bhaktapur Chief District Officer Prem Prasad Bhattarai. This time, the vehicle carrying construction materials is ready to run at night.

Similarly, the meeting has decided to allow grocery shops, department stores and stationery and book shops to remain open till 9 am. Vegetable, fruit, milk, meat and gas shops are allowed to open only till 9 in the morning.
