Private Schools in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City Prohibited from Fee Hike and Textbook Changes

In a recent decision made by the Municipal Education Committee of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city, private schools within the city will not be allowed to increase their fees during the current academic session. The decision was made to provide relief to parents who have been facing financial challenges due to the pandemic.

Gopal Hamal, the head of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city, announced that private schools cannot change their textbooks for the next five years. This decision was taken after parents expressed their concern over the additional financial burden of buying new textbooks every year.

There are currently 110 private and institutional schools in Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city, with more than 37 thousand students studying in them. The Education, Youth, and Sports Division of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city has already informed all private schools to comply with the decision made by the Municipal Education Committee.

If any private school is found to have increased their fees or changed textbooks during the current academic session, strict action will be taken against them. The Municipal Education Committee has urged the residents of the city to report such incidents immediately.

Overall, this decision will provide much-needed relief to parents who are already facing financial challenges due to the pandemic. By prohibiting schools from changing textbooks for the next five years, students will also have more time to adapt and understand the material, improving their academic performance.
