Prem Dangal Appointed as the Chairman of Rastriya Kisan Aayog:
Prem Dangal has been appointed as the chairman of the National Farmers’ Commission (Rastriya Kisan Aayog). A cabinet meeting held on Monday appointed Dangal as the chairman.
Dangal was made the president of the All Nepal Farmers Federation a few months ago by CPN-UML president KP Sharma Oli. Dangal said that he had received information that he had been appointed to the Farmers' Commission.
The cabinet meeting has appointed Jivanti Poudel, Surya Prasad Khanal, Manju Dhimal, Tek Bahadur Bogati, and Pushpa Bhusal as members of the National Farmers Commission. Bogati has been appointed on behalf of the cooperative and Bhusal as an expert member.
