Police Tactics Training College Celebrated 5th Foundation Day:

The Police Tactics Training College at Jargha in Sunwal Municipality-11 of West Nawalparasi has celebrated its fifth foundation day. The Police Tactical Training College, which was shifted from Kathmandu in 2072 BS, was inaugurated by the then Chief Inspector General of Police, Upendra Kant Aryal, on Shrawan 23, 2074 BS.

Since its inception, the school has enrolled a total of 6,105 police personnel including 464 police inspectors, 16 police deputy inspectors, 1,483 assistant police inspectors, 219 police constables, and 3,923 police personnel.

The chief guest of the program organized on the occasion of the fifth foundation day, Chief District Officer of West Nawalparasi, Sagar Mani Pathak, wished the college well and stressed on the need for the general public to think of the Nepal Police not only as a power center but also as a friend.

He lauded the efforts of the school for the treatment of patients in Nawalparasi district and neighboring districts and for the construction of a 100-bed quarantine center for the first time in the district for the prevention of COVID-19.

In the same program, the first edition of 'Yukti Darpan 2077' published by the college was unveiled by the Chief District Officer and the winners of various categories of sports program conducted by the school on the occasion of the foundation day were also awarded.

Likewise, Principal of the same school, Senior Superintendent of Police Basanta Bahadur Kunwar thanked the guests for attending the program and expressed confidence that the college still lacks the necessary physical infrastructure and with the continuous support of the police organization and three tiers of government, it will become a model police training center in the country.
