Pokhara University Call Application for 20th Convocation Ceremony
Pokhara University, Office of the Controller of Examinations Urgent Notice Regarding Filling Out the Online Form to Participate in the 20th Convocation Ceremony.
This notice is published for the information of all concerned that students who have already graduated with Bachelor’s, Master’s, M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees and wish to take part in Pokhara University’s 20th Convocation Ceremony—scheduled for Falgun 08, 2081 (February 20, 2025)—must fill out the online form via the Office of the Controller of Examinations’ website: exam.pu.edu.np.
The online form for participating in the convocation will be available on the website from 2081/10/05 to 2081/10/19. One may fill out and submit the form at any time within this period.
Application Process and Required Documents

Applicants themselves must fill out the online application form provided on the Pokhara University website (exam.pu.edu.np) and submit it directly online. For Nepali names, please type using Aalekh Font.

Only those students whose transcripts were issued after Magh 24, 2080 (February 07, 2024) are eligible to participate in this convocation ceremony.

To participate in the convocation, students must have obtained their transcript or already applied for it by Magh 10, 2081 (January 23, 2025).

Based on the details filled out by the student, the Convocation Certificate will be prepared. Therefore, while submitting the online form, the student must enter:

Nepali name exactly as per their citizenship certificate

English name exactly as per their transcript
If any mistakes occur and lead to errors in the certificate, the student will be solely responsible. -
When submitting the online form, you must upload a PP-sized photo (1.1" x 1.4"), a scan of your citizenship certificate, and your transcript. All scanned documents must be in color.

After completing the online form, applicants can download a slip from the dashboard of the same online portal. This slip must be brought along when picking up and returning the convocation gown.

When collecting and returning the convocation gown, students must present this slip to the Office of the Controller of Examinations.

All students participating in the convocation must pay NPR 7,000 (NPR 5,000 as the convocation certificate fee and NPR 2,000 as a deposit for the convocation attire) via the online portal.

Gown distribution will take place at the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Pokhara-30, Dhungepatan, Kaski, on Falgun 06 and 07, 2081 from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Gown return will be held at the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Pokhara-30, Dhungepatan, Kaski, on Falgun 09, 2081, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

There will be no distribution or return of gowns on the day of the convocation ceremony itself.

To receive the deposit refund for the convocation gown, students must clearly provide their own bank details (bank name, bank account number, and branch).
