PM Oli Launched Model Smart School Campaign

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has launched 'Model Smart School' for the information based on information technology. Prime Minister Oli has launched a smart school program on the occasion of second National Information and Communication Technology organized by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology with the slogan "Digital Nepal: Development and prosperity. The Bishwa Shanti Secondary School, Kaski, has become the first Smart School of this Campaign.          

In the program held at KamalPokhari in Kathmandu, Prime Minister Oli had clicked the remote and was broadcast directly to the school through online technology. The government has targeted the program for at least one community school in every state.     

In the same program, Nepal Telecommunications Company Limited and Rastriya Banijjya Bank were signed in the agreement on establishing a digital finance company. Managing Director Dilliram Adhikari of Nepal Telecommunication Company Limited and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kabiraj Adhikari of Rastriya Banijjya Bank signed the agreements. Similarly, Information Technology Scholarship was signed between President of Computer Association (CAN) Federation Hemant Chaurasia and Lord Buddha Academy President Pankaj Jalan. The scholarship will be given to 49 students under the cost of Rs. 1.5 million.
