PECAN Formed and Sworn in its Valley Special Committee

Progressive Educational Consultants Association Nepal (PECAN) has formed and sworn in its Valley Special Committee through a program hosted by CPN-UML Spokesperson and former Foreign Minister Pradip Gyawali and Hon'ble LP Sawa Limbu. The committee formed under the chairmanship of Daya Thapa has 37 members. The committee has selected Chaitanya Kharel, Deepak Khanal, Sushila Bhandari, Balram Acharya, Kshitij Bista, and five vice-chairmen and has got Krishna Raj Bhattarai as the secretary. Similarly, Deepak Bastola, Gangaram Basnet, Niranjan Siwakoti, and Rabin Timalsina have been appointed as joint secretaries while Ram Thapa has become treasurer.

Speaking on the occasion, Basu Nepal, chairman of Free Education Consultancy Organizations of Nepal (FECON) and founding central member of PECAN, said that they were orphaned after the promulgation of the new constitution as it was not decided who would monitor the association. He also drew the attention of the Government of Nepal and party spokesperson Gyawali to take the problems of businessmen seriously.

Buddhi Prasad Regmi, the announcer of the program, said that the problems of the entrepreneurs have not been heard even after repeated requests and urged to include the word "consultation" in the party's upcoming general convention. He said, "It is the responsibility of the party to nurture this association which was opened at the request of the party. Therefore, the party should now play a role in changing the attitude of the state towards us." He said that one cannot be proud of the increase.

He said that the opportunity for quality education should be created in Nepal. "I am closely monitoring the various problems of the entrepreneurs and also the problems of the students, so it will be my and the party's effort to take initiative to solve the policy problems faced by the entrepreneurs," he added. He stressed the need to be known from afar after joining the party and focus on providing quality services rather than just making a profit. . He suggested the entrepreneurs work cautiously as the future of the country would be in jeopardy when a businessman plays games on a student for limited profit.

The special guest of PECAN's Valley Special Committee Hon. P. Sawa Limbu took the oath. Stating that such organizations will survive only if the entrepreneurs are successful as they are entrepreneurs, Limbu said that the entrepreneurs should focus their creative potential on providing quality service to the students by showing them a realistic picture.

PECAN aims to expand its membership and actively employ businessmen to take their problems to the government through the party.

The formation and swearing-in ceremony of the Upatyaka Special Committee of the Progressive Educational Counseling Entrepreneurs Association, established under the Nepal Federation of Industries, a sister organization of the CPN-UML, had begun.

Khadga Bahadur Tamling Limbu, Chairman of the CPN-UML Advisory Branch Committee, Rajan Kumar Shrestha, Co-Coordinator of the Education Department of the Federation of Nepalese Industries, and Businessmen, welcomed the guests.
