Pathibhara Multiple Campus in Taplejung has decided not to charge monthly fees for visually impaired and physically disabled students enrolled at the campus.
According to Santosh Purkuti, a member of the campus management committee, the decision was made during a meeting held on Thursday under the chairpersonship of Campus Management Committee Chairperson Sheela Izam.
He informed that this decision will come into effect from the same date, Thursday. The campus has also decided to grant one day of monthly leave to female teachers and staff during their menstrual period.
In addition, the campus will provide sanitary pads free of cost to those in need during menstruation. The campus has also decided to immediately purchase and install necessary equipment for the proper management of sanitary pads.
