Pardi Secondary School, Pokhara-17 Mustangchowk has celebrated its 59th anniversary, parents' day and award distribution ceremony on 14t Poush 2078, Wednesday. After inaugurating the program, Member of the House of Representatives Vidya Bhattarai said that preparation of infrastructure was also important for enhancing the quality of education.
Gandaki Pradesh Sabha MP Krishna Thapa said what kind of education policy should be adopted. Mentioning that the local government can do it now, he said that they can also get help from the province and the federal government by making a plan.
Director of the Gandaki Examination Management Office, Bishnu Narayan Shrestha, said that the teaching profession was sensitive and stressed on respect for teachers for enhancing the quality of education.
Narayan Prasad Subedi, head of Education Development and Coordination Unit, Kaski, said that hardworking and disciplined students would be good citizens.
Principal Bamdev Poudel said that the proposed action plan would be taken forward with the support of all.
Acting President of Unified All Nepal Teachers Association Kaski Bishnu Prasad Bhattarai, President of Nepali Congress Pokhara-17 Devraj Acharya, President of Parents Association Shalikram Devkota, Former Chairman of Management Committee Navin Baral, Parents Bhupendra Giri and others spoke on the occasion.
Assistant Principal Dolkumari Poudel and student Rojina Chhetri welcomed the students at the program chaired by Shanta Gurung, Acting Chairperson of the School Management Committee.
