Pakistani Ambassador Scholarship Awarded to 180 Students from 119 schools in Nepal
The Pakistani Embassy in Nepal has awarded the Pakistani Ambassador Scholarship to 180 students from 119 schools in Nepal.
At the 12th annual scholarship award ceremony, Suresh Adhikari, Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Government, awarded the scholarship. According to the embassy, laptops were also provided to the best students on that occasion.
On that occasion, Secretary Suresh Adhikari expressed his appreciation for Pakistan's continuous support and technical assistance, especially in the field of education. He said that the awarding of scholarships is a reflection of the close friendly relations between Nepal and Pakistan.
Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal, Abrar H. Hashmi, said that Pakistan will continue its efforts to expand the scholarship program and cooperation from tertiary level to secondary education in Nepal. He said that motivating Nepali youth in the fields of studies, sports and healthy social activities is the main basis of bilateral cooperation.
