Over 79,000 Students to Participate in SEE Exam Across 278 Centers in Madhesh Province
The Secondary Education Examination (SEE) is an important examination for students in Nepal, and this year, 79,094 students from Madhesh province are participating in the exam. The Directorate of Education Development Janakpurdham has designated 278 examination centers across the state to ensure a dignified, disciplined, and fair examination.
Dhanusha has the highest number of students among the eight districts of Madhesh province, with 12,146 students qualified to participate in the SEE exam. On the other hand, Rautahat has the lowest number of students with only 8,957 participants. Siraha and Sarlahi have over 10,000 students, while Saptari, Mahottari, Bara, and Parsa have more than 9,000 but less than 10,000 students participating in the SEE exam.
Preparations for the SEE exam have been completed, with answer sheets delivered to all examination centers and question papers handed over to the District Police Office in each district. The head of the center, usually the principal of the community school designated as the examination center, has the right to keep assistant head of the center, inspector, and office assistant.
To ensure a dignified, fair, and disciplined examination, manpower, including 10 teachers, 10 police officers, and three office assistants, will be mobilized in each examination center. Employee representatives from the directorate to the district level will monitor the examination, and a team will inspect and monitor each district examination coordinating committee.
The SEE exam will be conducted from March 31 to April 9, 2023, for the general exam and March 31 to April 12, 2023, for the technical exam, as per the schedule published by the National Examination Board.
