According to the National Examination Board, about 510,000 students will be participating in this year's Secondary Education Examination (SEE). This figure is based on the number of students who have filled out examination forms.
However, not all registered students end up taking the exams. Similar patterns have been observed in previous years. The SEE exams will be conducted from March 20 to April 1, 2025 (Chaitra 7 to 19).
Nandalal Poudel, Examination Controller (Grade 10) at the Board, states that all central-level preparations for the examinations have been completed. He confirmed that answer sheets and question papers have already been delivered to all districts.
For compulsory subjects, different question papers have been prepared according to each province. For optional subjects, either one or two types of question papers have been printed based on the number of students.
This time, 29 students from Japan will be participating in the SEE exams. These students are from Nepali language schools operating in Japan.
