Outstanding Students in Extracurricular Activities (ECA) Awarded at Baneshwor Campus

Medals and certificates were distributed to the winners of competitions organized by Baneshwor Multiple Campus in Shantinagar, which has received QAA from the University Grants Commission, during a ceremony on Sunday. At the ceremony, Campus Chief Prof. Dr. Ghaman Singh Khadka said that the campus has continuously conducted intellectual and sports competitions for students' physical and mental development by prioritizing reading. On the occasion, Campus Chief Prof. Dr. Khadka congratulated the awarded students, appreciating their talents.

At the ceremony, Campus Chief Prof. Dr. Khadka and Campus Board Chairman Haribol Bhattarai distributed medals and certificates to the students. On occasion, Board Member Prof. Dr. Kedar Neupane, Head of Extracurricular Activities Prof. Dr. Kishnadev Yadav, Professors' Association President Rameshwor Kafle, Program Coordinator Arjun Kumar Acharya, Devchandra Shrestha, Departmental Head Prof. Rajendra Prasad Dahal, Prof. Dr. Bishnu Prasad Rai, Prof. Dhruv Kumar Neupane, Parashuram Bhattarai and other professors and students were present.

Ambika Neupane, Apsara Pokharel, Yamuna Upadhyay, and Roshan Singh Bhandari were awarded the first, second, third, and consolation prizes in the poetry competition.

Pratibha Kharel won first prize in the dance competition, Pratima Rana Magar won second, and Sunidhi Giri won third. Sabin Khadka won first prize in the stand-up comedy competition, Binod Ojha won second, Shivlal Adhikari won third, and Shatrughan Kumar Shah won fourth.

Dipen Katuwal, Nirmala Darlami Magar, and Narad Bohara won first prize in the essay competition. The Yamuna Upadhyay, Sangeeta Bhattarai, and Ambika Neupane groups won second prize. Similarly, the Rohit Chhetri, Dilan Rai, and Mausam Gautam groups won third prize.

Roshan Ghimire, Prabhat Poudel, and Umesh Gurung won the table tennis competition's first, second, and third prizes.

In the girls' competition, Suja Shrestha won first, Sarina Magar won second, and Manisha Nepali won third. Shristi Shah, Mili Shrestha, and Yamuna Upadhyay won first, second, and third prizes. In the boys' competition, Ram Shah won first, Indra Singh Thakuri won second, and Ayuhang Rai won third.

In the volleyball competition, Kishor Shahi, Ashok Chhetri, Suren Pariyar, Jeevan Auji, Ashok Saund, Lokesh Ghartimagar, Sagar Rai Danuwar, Surjan Tamrakar, and Shiva Nepali won first prize.

Similarly, the group of Sameer Nepali, Bikash Khatri, Rajkumar Rokaya, Tekendra Rokaya, Lalit BK, Basanta Bohara, Rupesh Nepali, Rajesh Nepali and Ujjwal Shrestha has won the second prize.

In the volleyball competition, the group of Shristi Ale Magar, Jharana Rai, Sushmita Baral, Rubina Saund, Apsara Karki, Laxmi Budhathoki, Pooja Adhikari, Yashoda Karki and Mohini Thapa has won the first prize in the girls' category. Similarly, the group of Tikeshwari Bohara, Bimala Neupane, Muna Bohara, Tamai Tamang, Asha Thapa, Bipana Bhandari, Pratibha Khadka, Asmita Bohara and Elisha Khadka have won the second prize.

Associate Professor Deepak Babu Niralal conducted the program conducted the program. The campus currently offers BBS, BA, and BEd programs at the undergraduate level and MA (Sociology), MBS, and MAd (Health Education and Educational Management and Supervision) programs at the postgraduate level, including classes for grades 11 and 12.

  • Stand-up Comedy: Sabin Khadka (1st), Binod Ojha (2nd), Shivlal Adhikari (3rd), and Shatrughan Kumar Shah (4th).

  • Quiz Competition: The team of Dipen Katuwal, Nirmala Darlami Magar, Narad Bohara (1st), Yamuna Upadhyay's team (2nd), and Rohit Chhetri's team (3rd).

  • Table Tennis (Boys): Roshan Ghimire (1st), Prabhat Paudel (2nd), Umesh Gurung (3rd).

  • Table Tennis (Girls): Suja Shrestha (1st), Sarina Magar (2nd), Manisha Nepali (3rd).

  • Badminton (Girls): Srishti Shah (1st), Mili Shrestha (2nd), Yamuna Upadhyay (3rd).

  • Badminton (Boys): Ram Shah (1st), Indra Singh Thakuri (2nd), Aayuhang Rai (3rd).

  • Volleyball (Boys): Kishor Shahi and others won 1st place, while Samir Nepali's team got 2nd place.

  • Volleyball (Girls): Srishti Alemagar's team won first place, and Tikeshwori Bohora's team took second place.
